You may think that this is crazy but the best time to shop for the holidays is right after Thanksgiving, the following day called Black Friday. Sure everyone has the same idea and the parking is crazy and the stores may be mobbed but that is when the stores have the best prices. Things are sometimes 50 % off before the season really kicks off. They retail store put their items on sale so more people will come in and buy them. They may have a reduction in price but it 1000 people more buy the item on sale with 50% off then they would if it wasn’t then the store still makes a great profit because they sold three or four times the volume.
You can go to the stores on Black Friday a little easier than you could years ago. There are a lot of people who shop online and they don’t care that the prices are the same and there is no sale, they just don’t want to go to the mall. So they decide to shop online. This frees up the stores and more people can take advantage of the sales.
Black Friday can be a Good Friday as well, you could save hundreds of dollars buy just shopping on the worst shopping day of the year. Bad for some but great if you bought your entire Christmas list on sale and have money left over.
